Another sketch

 Hello my friends! Hope you are having a great holiday...Here's what I've been up to today:

 Another sketch using my imagination. Something of a snow queen....So this is not necessarily a step by step of the whole process, but more of a before and after. The above picture is the first lines I draw to place my vision onto paper. I rarely use an eraser since this only the start of the sketch.

Ta da! As you can see some decisions are made later on, like the bangs I added to her hairstyle. At the end, the sketch becomes darkened, sharper to the eye, and depth is created using different techniques. Of course adding color or tracing off with a rapido pen helps the overall attraction of the picture. What I drew today is only to show how an idea flourishes using a simple pencil drawing and from there how it will evolve into a full scale illustration or painting. I hope to show you the end result in a few days, which will be on heavier stock paper and probably colorful and finished off with some detailed touches.
