Like most people, I love hanging pictures in my home. The task of how to hang them so the end result actually looks pleasant to the eye is a hard task though. I've tried grouping pictures before and loved the effect it has in a room. Right now I have larger pictures and posters so I haven't exactly grouped anything together like before. However I do have two fairly empty walls in my entryway in great need of attention. Besides proper entryway furniture, I also believe it lacks some character and I think some grouped up pictures will do the trick.
Love the black and white look! The black frames and minimal detail in these pictures make the effect modern but homey. Find this fabulous home above at Nordic Leaves, an awesome blog about design with one of a kind pictures taken by the blog owner! |
Always love grey and white, and here are three pictures that make me soooo happy! The B&W and neutral colors of the frames and the pictures add such subtle beauty to rooms that already have a lot of character. Oh, and I love the round table in the picture above, maybe because I have the same one in my kitchen! Find these pictures and more here.
And how about those dramatic homes that have a nice picture wall that really intend to pull off a statement? In this case, the more there are to the collection, the better:

Love the simple illustrations hung above a divan-sofa. The modern yet rustic feel makes the room an inviting place to hang out, don't you think? More here. |
I'm not a very big fan of the color beige (in any way) so I tend not to use it if I can. However, the art on the walls look great and complements the overall modern city look. Find this pretty apartment here.
