Sketching 101...Finished!

Hello everyone! I know I haven't posted in a while but I've been busy with not one but two personal projects which I will announce when the time feels right. So excited I can't wait!

In the meantime I've finished the last sketch I was working on (which took me 2 weeks instead of a typical 45 minutes this time!) so here is the finished product:

Once I had the right proportions in place, I started to draw and shade darker for the final effect. Anywhere that would normally hit the light I kept untouched, like the earrings and some parts of her hair and skin.
