Hello everyone! Left behind me a pretty exciting and hectic week. Sometimes it just feels like everything in your life has decided to squeeze into one week, or even one day, and although it is Sunday today, I can't wait for the next weekend to get over this weekend!
But now, lets get back to some design inspiration....Today I wanted to share a designer whose interiors really speak to me. Although I really enjoy a peaceful home, I also do love the colorful North African decor style and the breezy white & blue stone interiors of the Aegean & Mediterranean Coast. Alberto Pinto must be the one designer who can accomplish it all.
Absolutely love the wall murals in this home on the island of Mykonos. The white beams and stone fireplace completes the coastal mood.
The above two images are from a home in Tangiers. I love how the designer combined pastel colors to give warmth to the room in the first picture. The bedroom, on the other hand, feels so comforatble in nuetral colors, while the ornate pillars add such drama to this quiet space.
Details from an entry from a home in Tunisia shows all the exotic elements of a North African home. The white walls are balanced with dark wood floors and typical regional furniture.
Diverse, creative, and fun, I find these rooms simply livable and lovely!
