After much searching, found the picture which I believe this blue & green back splash was inspired by:
It reminded me of the Japanese art called Ukiyo-e, which means "floating landscape" in Japanese. The one above was painted by Utagawa Hiroshige from the 19th century. Would very much love to have such art anywhere in my home!
