I've been wanting to do a post about ceiling beams for a while now, and so today I picked out some that I think really suits my taste in not only beams, but in home decor as well. Bright, modern-rustic, and somewhat on the Scandinavian side...
Simply love the whole dining area here, and the beams definitely add a rustic touch, found here.

It's amazing how rustic and modern can so well together. Stainless steel appliances and concrete counter tops blend right in with the wooden barn doors and ceiling beams, found here.
This room above is my favorite. The room is kept bright and airy with the use of thinner ceiling beams along with the white-gray color scheme. And who doesn't like a Hermes throw on their sofa, especailly when it has your initial on it?! Found this charming room here.
Just to make note, did you realize how each room has a bit of rattan or rattan-inspired baskets and accesories? Not a coincidence, I'm sure... Looks great!
