I hope you had a fantastic weekend... This week it's a national/religious holiday here, so many people are on a 9 day vacation...While most vacation goers head from the busy northern cities to the warmer beachy southern shores, there are still places up North that could accomodate the vacationer seeking that calm and quiet atmosphere. One of these places is in Istanbul. Take a look:
A small boutique hotel, The House Hotel Galatasaray, has the perfect mix of old world and modern in one. Yet again designed by one of my favorite architectural/design companies, Autoban, this hotel has everything one could want from a few nights stay. Remember my post about the design team here, where I mentioned they'd designed the Turkish Airlines VIP lounge and the Witt Hotel in Istanbul?
The lounge/dining area totally reminded me of Ralph Lauren, and then I saw the book on the coffee table!
Love the calmness the cool and serene colors in this hotel offer its guests...
