Design: Unique products for your home

Hi everyone!

Having some cooler end-of-summer days here, and I couldn't be happier. It is nowhere close to autumn at this point, but the temperature has dropped. We're having breezy afternoons, and almost cool evenings! It's definitely easier to get around, especailly in the city now...

Today I wanted to bring you some stylish (and at times practical) home products that just put a smile on your face. Let's start with this one:

This sofa has totally won me over. So cute! The dog (or cat) house built into this sofa is one of the best ideas I've seen so far. If I had a pet I'm sure I would want one of these sofas by designer Seungji Mun...Wouldn't you?
Yesterday at a home goods store I had spotted one of these, only a cube shape, and thought "DIY for this season?". Apparently, no. At least it's a no for me. These ottomans/poufs are hand knitted with huge knitting needles and lots of patience, which I don't have, by designer Christien Miendertsma, the pioneer of handknitted products for your home. So Scandinavian, I want one!

Plastic cutlery for the stylish hostess, by Italian company Pandora Design...I personally would love to use these for an al fresco dinner, or even a little girl's birthday party. Comes in so many colors I had a hard time choosing one, but settled at purple, one of my favorite colors.
Another favorite of mine, especailly since my kids practice paper marbling, is this wallpaper from West Elm...The colors are absolutely beautiful, and could be used in any room in your home. Very wintery too, so I'm about ready for subdued colors on my wall to welcome the fall/winter to come.

I love these bottle openers by fortstandard. I would simply use them every day, to open my mineral water and what not. I wonder if they sell the marble block underneath the openers, too?

I don't play backgammon. Never learned. Here in Turkey it's really big, especailly among men. But just for the sake of this feminine patterned and  beautifully crafted Butterfly Backgammon set by Alexandra Llewellyn Design, I might just start throwing that dice!

Any product here you think you might try using in your home? I'd love to hear from you!

Have a great, design-filled day!
