It's about 35 degrees C (95 F) where I live right now by the Aegean coast. So this post is mainly not because I'm cold and need a cozy spot in the living room, it's mostly because I miss cooler weather and thinking of it makes the heat wave here a little more livable.
Keeping that in mind, I went looking for "cozy" insprations for fall in case it decided to drop by!
The purple, pink, and taupe in this room feels so comfortable, yet makes the room stylish at the same time. Love the candle holders...
This home above is probably one of my favorites. The black & white,, the turquoise, the Eskimo/North Pole themed pillows...It's like a Norwegian winterfest in your living room! A throw close by offers more coziness for those cooler nights...Notice how tree branches and pine cones are used to bring that fall-to-winter atmosphere inside the home. Loving the candle arrangement in the tray.
How about arranging some fall branches with berries, variously colored pumpkins, and some pillar candles in a rustic farm-house style wooden box? Perfect!
Grouping candles or arranging them in an existing fireplace is also a practical way to bring some cozy into your living room.
A faux fur throw by your favorite reading (or knitting, or blogging..)space will give you instant coziness on those stay-inside type of days...
Knit pillows (or anything, for that matter!) adds instant warmth to your room and your soul...Love the neutral colors used here, and the simple patterns on the square pillows. This could be a DIY for knitting fans out there too!
