Hello there!
Had little time for anything but work and so finally here I am! We're having some rain showers here so it's a grab-something-warm-to-drink-and-sit-by-the-window kind of day...I do have a lot of windows in my apartment, and I do like them, but if I could have any window I wanted it would be the black steel framed type that you usually see in lofts. Searching for inspiration, I've found that this design element doesn't have to be in a huge minimal space, and that if used the right way, it could actually accentuate even the smaller homes and rooms. Here are some I chose to share with you:
I love the french doors here...The thought of your doors opening up right into the garden is just wonderful!
Smaller rooms, such as the fabulous and serene bathroom and the Scandinavian living area above, can also accomodate a black framed window. No curtains, please!
This last one is my favorite. Two different views of a kitchen/eating area in a very large home. The room opens up to the courtyard in the back. It's hard to even imagine this room without the huge windows, don't you think?
