When it comes to kitchen backsplashes and to have or not have, I personally think it should be an essential part of the room. It keeps me from being too precautious while cooking so I can splatter away the sauce or water without too much thinking. Not only can a good backsplash keep your kitchen wall clean, but it can add some color and texture that otherwise may not exist...
Here is a roundup of some backsplashes that I would consider myself if I were redoing my kitchen:
This first one is my favorite. Who wouldn't want french recipes written all over their backsplash? I know I would! Found this lovely idea here
The copper colored ceramic tiles really make an impact, as does the beautiful white veined carrera marble backsplash, and also the white pebble backsplash perfect for a coastal-themed home... Find all three here
How about an actual copper backsplash, whcih gives the kitchen a rustic yet industrial look, found here
I chose to also share the traditional tile backsplash, only here in a pretty blue chevron pattern, that gives the tiles some personality. Find more here.
And last but not least, a trendy favorite for a good reason, the simple but stylish subway tile backsplash, here in sky blue. Find several different varieties right here.
What would be your choice of backsplashes for your kitchen?
See you tomorrow!
