Weekend wishes...And a historical building...

Hello everyone and happy Friday!

We are having unbelievable weather here these days, and since I was off today and the kids are on spring break, we thought we could have a fun family outing together...We headed to a favorite place of mine in the heart of the "old" city, called Hisar Önü. There is a beautiful building there that was originally used as a hotel way back during the Ottoman era. It has been restored to accomodate cafes, antique and souvenier shops, and as you can guess is a local and tourist attraction. I'll share the exterior of the place with you today.

 The structure is a large complex, consisiting of a former hotel, a large mosque, and a covered bazaar...
