A historical building visit, part two...

Hello there!

Ready to see some photos from inside the bazaar we visited Friday

So what you'll see today is the inside of the structure I had blogged about.
I'll be sharing the ground floor of the complex which is home to a lot of tiny stores, each selling home goods, carpets, antiques, textiles, beads, even olive oil...

There sure is a lot to see, and I tried my best to capture some of the beauty and color of the unique atmosphere there...

Tiny handpainted ceramic bowls for chocolates or nuts...So pretty!

 My daughter admiring the goods!
The bazaar is always full of local shoppers, along with tourists from around the world...

It wouldn't be a Turkish bazaar without some belly-dancing accesories, right?
Some more handpainted vases and decorative plates. Blue is the most common color used in this art, along with white and a special hue of red, seen below.

Two mannequins displayed in a music store window...The instruments are all traditional Turkish instruments, used in both folk and classic Turkish music, as are the outfits worn on the mannequins...
Not only did I find handpainted ceramics but also handpainted Turkish textiles and pillows for the bath and bedroom...

A display in front of a one of the carpet stores...So much to choose from!

Have a delightful Sunday everyone!
