Before the day is over, I wanted to share a few pics from a national holiday here in Turkey. Each year on April 23rd, there are massive, colorful festivities celebrating and honoring childen. Every year each school has there own celebration, and my son danced an Aegean folk dance in full authentic costume. He and his classmates were pretty excited, but it was all worth it! They put on a great show, and had tons of fun!
