Some kitchen Inspiration...

Welcome back everyone to a new week...

It still holiday time here,
so we'll be taking it easy until Wednesday.

Yay!

Recently I've been dealing with all the unnecessary "stuff" in my kitchen, trying to throw out or give away some of it. We always do our best with two kids in the household to try to keep everything neat, tidy and clean. But after cleaning the kitchen pretty thoroughly with my husband last week and sifting through all the unwanted items, I'm still upset about the outcome. I did get rid of all the drinking glasses that were no longer a set, all the old mugs and plastic cereal bowls...However, every drawer and cabinet, even the countertops, is still packed with "stuff we might need one day", which I think is the worst kind of hoarding!

And then there are these beautiful kitchens that you can practically not only live in, but meditate and do your yoga in for the rest of your life... Achieving such serenity in a much-used room inspires me, so let's take a look at some that I've been loving lately:

This beautiful kitchen that opens up to the yard and features a glass ceiling found

Amazingly beautiful kitchen with shiny modern appliances, a magnificent charcoal colored slate wall, mixed with rustic wood furniture and old fashioned brick,
from Louwerse de Jong architects.

But let's be real, I live in an apartment. It's fairly large, but it's no suburban 2 story house! That said, this spacious eat in kitchen full with wine fridge
looks very promising for an apartment:
