Beautiful blue and white summer home in Morocco...

Hello dear readers!

I know I'm not posting as often as usual...I just want to let you know that I'm kind of in a process of getting organized and other summer time activities, so posting on and off might be a regular thing for me this month. I do promise to post at least once a week, so thank you for continuing to visit haken's place...

So today I'm sharing a beautiful home from Northern Africa,  in Morocco that really caught my eye.

Three aspects that inspires me in this home are:

One: the use of all the beautiful wallpaper throughout the house, and by sticking to the same color scheme and similar themed patterns, it all looks very coherent and pleases the eye.

Two: the use of a regional color palette, which in this home is, you probably guessed, blue and white. Since the climate in this region is hot and dry, the whites makes you feel cool, and the blue reminds you of the cool sea.

Three: the mix of patterns. I immediately loved the chevron blue and white floor tiles and the boldly striped hallway in the same color. The bedroom boasts the peacock patterned wallpaper in navy, and the kitchen comes alive with use of the multi green(ish) backsplash tiles.

What are you loving about this cool and calm Moroccan home?

Enjoy your week!
